(6-12): Fundamental Forensics and Biotechnology

Come join the Mississippi crime scene team to solve forensic mysteries based on current events in the news. Come away with paper labs and simulations that you can immediately integrate into your science classes. We will also solve “Murder Most Fowl” an avian flu simulation and discuss our new project “The Muse of Fire” where we are using high school and pre-service teachers to conduct cutting edge research into fire ants. Lab manuals and CD’s of all activities will be provided.
